Proof :
Here
Hypotenuse = AB
Also we know that triangle ABC is isosceles
Hence AC = BC ( isosceles triangle has two side equal)
Using pythagoras theorem in triangle ABC
H^2= H^+B^2
AB^2=AC^2+BC^2
AB^2=AC^2+AC^2 ( AC=BC)
AB^2=2AC^2
Hence proved
