Heya !!
Given :- ABC is an isosceles ∆ and angle B = 90°.
To prove :- AC² = 2AB²
Proof :- Angle B = 90° (given)
So, hypotenuse = AC
Since, ABC is an isosceles ∆
So, AB = BC
By Pythagoras theorem,
AC² = AB² + BC²
=> AC² = AB² + AB² (as AC = BC)
=> AC² = 2AB²
Hence proved.
