∆ABC is right-angled at A. If AC = 10 cm and AB = 24 cm, find the length of BC.

Solution :-

given that, In ∆ABC right-angled is at A .

→ AB = 24 cm

→ AC = 10 cm

So,

→ BC = √(AB² + AC²) { By pythagoras theorem }

→ BC = √(24² + 10²)

→ BC = √(576 + 100)

→ BC = √(676)

→ BC = 26 cm (Ans.)

Hence, length of BC is equal to 26 cm .
