Answer:

The answer is 17 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The lenth of BC is root (13 square-5 Square) =ROot144 =12 cm

If The line from M drawn to P point in AB and to the point QIn BC

Then MP=1/2 of BC =6 cm

As the same way MQ=1/2AB =5/2cm

Now the perimmeter of BPMQ is 5/2+5/2+6+6=17 cm

Question :-

ABC is right angled at 'B'. If AC = 13 cm & BC = 5 cm. What is the Perimeter of the below given shape?

Answer :-

Hypotenuse² = Perpendicular² + Base²

13² = 5² + Base²

169 - 25 = Base²

√144 = Base

12 = Base

Perimeter = a+b+c

12 + 13 + 5

30 cm
