AB = c and p is the length of perpendicular from C on AB. Prove that cp = ab.​

Answer:

in ∆ACD and ∆ABC

angle A = angle A

angle D=angle C

∆ACD similar to ∆ABC(A.A)

AC/AB=CD/BC

b/c=p/a

cp=ab
