abc is right triangle right angled at c .Side ab is 5 cm long and side ac is 4cm.What is the length of side bc

bcsuyal71: WESE AB 4CM HONA CHHAHIYE AUR AC HONA CHHAHIE 5CM.
Using Pythagoras theorem.. AC²=AB²+BC²=> 5²=4²+BC²=>25-16=BC²=> BC²=9=>BC=√9=>BC=3cm Answer..... ☺

GIVEN :

ABC is a right angled triangle

AB=5cm

AC=4cm

BC = ???

BY USING PYTHAGORAS THEORAM :

AB² = AC²+BC²

5²=4²+BC²

BC²= 25-16

BC= √9

BC = 3cm

HOPE IT HELPS YOU.

Siddhant912: By Pythagoras theorem
afsanafatima5: Hmm
Siddhant912: (Ab)²=(ac)²+(BC)²
