ABC is similar to DEF. Their areas are 64cm and 121 cm respectively. If EF= 15.4 cm, find BC. ​

therefore, area of triangle ABC/ area of triangle DEF = BC²/EF²

so, we get: 64/121 = BC²/15.4² since they are squared, we have to remove them:           √64/121 = BC/15.4

                  8/11 = BC/15.4

                BC= 8/11 x 15.4

therefore, BC will be 11.2 cm
