SOLUTION :-

GIVEN:-

☞ ΔABC~ΔPQR

☞ AB : PQ = 4 : 5

☞ BC = 8 cm

We know that,

If two triangles are similar then the angles are equal and corresponding sides are in proportion.

$\frac{AB}{PQ} = \frac{BC}{QR}$

$\frac{4}{5} = \frac{8}{QR}$

Now, cross multiplying the values.

$\frac{4}{5} \times \frac{QR}{8}$

$4QR = 8 \times 5$

$4QR = 40$

$QR = \frac{40}{4}$

$\fbox{QR = 10cm}$

Hence the length of QR is 10cm.
