SOLUTION :-

GIVEN:-

☞ ΔABC~ΔPQR

☞ AB : PQ = 4 : 5

☞ BC = 8 cm

We know that,

If two triangles are similar then the angles are equal and corresponding sides are in proportion.

 \frac{AB}{PQ}  =  \frac{BC}{QR}

 \frac{4}{5}  =  \frac{8}{QR}

Now, cross multiplying the values.

 \frac{4}{5}  \times  \frac{QR}{8}

4QR = 8 \times 5

4QR = 40

QR =  \frac{40}{4}

\fbox{QR = 10cm}

Hence the length of QR is 10cm.
