then

in triangle APD and triangle CPB

\angle DAP = \angle CBP

(angle in the same segment )

AP = PC  (as AC bisects BD )

then

\bigtriangleup APD \cong\bigtriangleup CPB

by ASA congruency rule

therefore

AD = BC (by CPCT )
