Given:

AB =16.5 cm,

BC = x cm,

CD=11 cm,

AD=19.8 cm

To Find:

value of X

Solution:

1) the Quadrilateral given in the question is a cyclic quadrilateral and one diagonal bisects the other so by the property of the cyclic quadrilateral we have

AB × BC = CD × DA

2) by putting the value of the term in the above equation we get:

  • 16.5 × x = 11 × 19.8
  • x =   11 × 19.8 / 16.5
  • x = 88 / 5
  • x = 17.6

value of X = 17.6 cm
