It is given that AB=BE

So, BE=CD.

Also, ∠BEF=∠EDC (Alternate interior Angle)

Similarly, ∠EBF=∠BCD  (Alternate interior Angle)

Now, In ΔBEF & ΔCDF

∠E=∠D

∠C=∠B

CD=BE

By ASA congurance criteria ΔBEF≅ΔCDF

By CPCT,

BF=CF

∴Line segment ED bisects BC
