AB=CD=16cm
area of parallelogram=b×h
area of ABCD=CD×AE=AD×CF
16×8=AD×10
128=AD×10
12.8=AD

hope this helps!

In parallelogram ABCD, AD = 12.8 cm.

Solution:

Given:

AE = 8cm

AB = 16 cm

CF = 10 cm

In a parallelogram ABCD, “CD = AB = 16 cm” (∵Opposite sides of parallelogram are equal)

The value of AD can be found by multiplying base by height. Both base and height of parallelogram is perpendicular each other.

Area of parallelogram =  \bold{b \times h}

Area of ABCD = A E \times C D=A D \times C F

\begin{array}{l}{16 \times 8=A D \times 10} \\ {128=A D \times 10}\end{array}

AD = 12.8 cm.
