In a parallelogram Angle A + B = 180

x + (3x+20) = 180

4x + 20 = 180

x= 180-20/4

x= 160/4

x= 40

A = 40

B = 3×40+20= 120+20=140

A=C

B=D(Sides opposite to quadrilateral are equal)

Solution:

Here,

  • We a parallelogram ABCD is given with its angles A measureing x° and B measuring (3x + 20)°

To do,

  • We find to the value of x,

As we know,

  • Sum of two adjacent angles of a parallelogram is 180

= Sum of a and b = 180°

= x + 3x + 20 = 180

= 4x + 20 = 180

= 4x = 180 - 20

= 4x = 160

= x = 160/4

= x = 40

Therefore, the value of x is 40°.
