Answer:

I hope it's helpful

Step-by-step explanation:

AB=CD=16cm

area of parallelogram=b×h

area of ABCD=CD×AE=AD×CF

16×8=AD×10

128=AD×10

12.8=AD

Correct Question :-

ABCD is a parallelogram, AE ⟂ DC and CF ⟂ AD.If AB = 16 cm , AE = 8 cm and CF = 10 cm , Find AD.

Given :-

  • ABCD is a parallelogram in which AE ⟂ DC and CF ⟂ AD

  • AB = CD = 16 cm , CF = 10 cm and AE = 8 cm

To find :-

  • The value of AD

Solution :-

we know that,

\green{\bigstar}\:\:{\underline{\boxed{\bf\red{Area\:of\:Parallelogram=Base\times\:Altitude}}}}

\rm\longrightarrow\:CD\times\:AE=AD\times\:CF

\rm\longrightarrow\:16\times\:8=AD\times\:10

\rm\longrightarrow\:128=AD\times\:10

\rm\longrightarrow\:\dfrac{128}{10}=AD

\rm\longrightarrow\:12.8=AD

\rm\longrightarrow\:AD=12.8\:cm

Hence,the value of AD will be 12.8 cm.
