ABCD is a parallelogram. find the value of x, y and x​

In a parallelogram the diagonals bisect each other, so if u take the diagonals BD then you'll get, x-y=5 so x is equal to 5+y

now take the other diagonal Ac you have already got the value of x to be 5+y

put the value of X on the equation, i.e x+y=9cm, then,

(5+y)+y= 9cm

2y+5=9

2y= 4

and y=2 cm

take out value of x from here.........

From diagonal AC you know that x+y = 9

so x = 7 cm
