sum of 3 angles of a triangle is always 180 degree
so, 50 degree + <x + 70 degree = 180 degree
150 degree + <x = 180 degree
<x = 180 degree - 150 degree
<x = 30 degree

angle y is alternatively angle to angle x
<x = <y (alternate interior angle)
<x = <y = 30 degree
<z = 70 degree(alternate interior angle)
Hence, <x = 30 degree
