Opposite angles are equal

3y = 3x + 3

Dividing the eq. by 3

y = x + 1

x - y + 1 = 0 ---> eq. 1

Sum of adjacent angles is 180°

3y + 2y - 5 = 180

5y = 180 + 5

5y = 185

y = 37°

Substituting in eq. 1

x = 36°

Answer:

X=36

Y=37

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.

And sum of angles of a parallelogram are equal

3x+3+ 3y+2y-5+2y-5=360

and as the first statement stated 3x+3= 3y

3y+3y+2y-5+2y-5=360

y=37

37×3=3x+3

x=36
