ABCD is a parallelogram having adjacent sides AB =35cm and BC=28cm . If the distance between its longer sides is 8cm find area of the parallelogram and the distance between it's shorter sides

Area of a parallelogram = base * height

Solving the sum.

AB =35 cm dustance between AB & CD = 8 cm

so area = 35 * 8 cm ^2

= 280 cm ^2.

Let the distance between the shorter sides be h cm

ATP

28 * h = 280

= h = 10 cm

Ans) 280 cm , 10cm
