we know that,diagonal bisect each other at 90° in parallelogram.
so, 5= x-y.........(i)
similarly,, 9= x+y......(ii)
adding equation (i) and(ii)
5+9= x+y+x-y
14= 2x
so,,x=7
putting the value of x in eq. (ii)
9=7+y
y=2
