⇒ AB | | DC

⇒ AP | | QC

∵ AP and QC are parts of AB and DC respectively]

Also, AP = CQ [given]

Thus, APCQ is a parallelogram .

We know that diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other .

Hence AC and PQ bisect each other .
