Let the height of the parallelogram be 'h' cm.

Sin 30° = 1/2

h/AC = 1/2

h/10 = 1/2

h = 5 cm

Therefore, Height = 5 cm

Base = AB = 8 cm

Area of a parallelogram = Base × Height

= (8 × 5) cm^2

= 40 cm^2

Hope it helps!!!!
