Ar( llgram ABCD ) =1/2 bh
= 21 = 1/2 ×6 ×h
= 21 = 3 h
= h = 21/3 = 7
therefore length of llgram = 7 cm
i think this process may be .....

Answer:

The length of AF is 7 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given ABCD is a parallelogram where E is a point on AD.

Area of ΔBCE = 21 square centimeter

CD = 6 cm,

we have to find the length of AF

As,

\text{Area of parallelogram ABCD=}Base\times Height

2(Area of BCE)=CD\times AF  (Diagonal of Parallelogram divides it into two triangles of equal area)

2\times 21=6\times AF

AF=7 cm

The length of AF is 7 cm
