GIVEN,
ABCD is a parallelogram in which AB= 15 cm , BC = 18 cm and height of parallelogram from the vertex A to BC = 9 cm
height of parallelogram from the vertex C to AB = ?
Solution: we know that
area of parallelogram = b× h
BC×AO ---- 1
similarly,
area of parallelogam = b× h
AB × CN ----- 2
from eqn 1 & 2
BC×AO = AB ×CN
now put the value
18× 9 cm = 15 × h cm
18 ×9 = 15×h
162÷15= h
SO, h= 10.8 cm
