ABCD is a quadrilateral. A line through D,parallel to AC meets BC produced in P. Prove that area of triangle APD= area of quadrilateral ABCD.

I think there is wrong in question it is to be prove that area of triangle APD is equal to half area of quadrilateral ABCD is this is the question then you can prove it by using the theorem that is parallelograms on the same base and between the same parallels are equal in area and a diagonal divides a parallelogram into two Triangles of equal area
