AB = CD

AB parallel CD

To prove : ABC congruent to ACD.

Proof : In triangle ABC and triangle ACD

AB = CD, given

angle CAB = angle ACD , alternative angles are

equal.

AC = AC, command side

Thus, ABC congruent to ACD , by SAS

Congruency criteria.
