Abcd is a quadrilateral in which diagonals bd=64 cm alperpendicular bd and cm perpendicular bd such that al =16.8cm and cm =13.2 cm. Calculate the area of quadrilateral abcd.

so area abcd = area of Δabd + area of Δbcd

                      = 1/2*al*bd + 1/2*cm*bd

                      =bd/2(al+cm)

                     = 64/2(16.8+13.2)

                     = 32(30) cm²

                     = 960 cm²
