ABCD is a quadrilateral in which P, Q, R and S are
mid-points of the sides AB, BC, CD and DA
(see Fig 8.29). AC is a diagonal. Show that:
SR 1AC and SR - AC
(i) PQ=SR
(ii) PQRS is a parallelogram.

Explanation:

1.As according to question,

this is successfully following the midpoint theorem,

So,SR=1/2AC

Now,PQ=1/2AC

by taking1/2AC as common in both

SR=PQ

2.As for this,We have proved above

SR=PQ

So, In parallelogram, opposite sides are parallel and equal as for which SR=PQ
