In triangle ABC
base=AB=11cm
HEIGHT=BC=60
hypo AC= v(11sq+60sq)
=v(121+3600)
=v(3721)
=61cm

Answer:

The length of diagonal AC is 61 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given ABCD is a rectangle AB = 11cm, BC=60cm. we have to find the length of AC i.e length of diagonal.

AB=11 cm

BC=60 cm

As all angles of rectangle are right angles implies ∠A=∠B=∠C=∠D=90°

In ΔABC, by Pythagoras theorem

Hypotenuse^2=Base^2+Perpendicular^2\\\\Diagonal^2=AB^2+BC^2\\\\AC^2=11^2+60^2\\\\AC^2=3720\\\\AC=\sqrt{3721}=61cm

Hence, length of AC is 61 cm
