Formula for Diagonal:

\bold{\boxed{ D =  \sqrt{ {(l)}^{2}  +  {(b)}^{2} }}}

=>Here ,length is BC =24cm

Breadth is AB =7cm

 =  > D =  \sqrt{ {(24)}^{2}  +  {(7)}^{2} }

  =  > D=  \sqrt{576 + 49}

 =  > D =  \sqrt{625}  = 25cm

Therefore, Diagonal of a rectangle(AC) is 25 cm.

AC=25CM

Area of Rectangle =Length × breadth

 = 24  \times 7 =  {168cm}^{2}

  • A rectangle is a type of Quadrilateral

  • Rectangle having four sides two are length and two are breadth.e.g=>AB=BC=CD=AD
  • Diagonal of a rectangle are equal in Length.e.g=>AC=BD
  • Opposite sides are equal and parallel to each other.AB=CD
  • The sum of all interior angles of a Rectangle is equal to 360°.
