Answer:

QUESTION :-

ABCD is a rectangle and AC and BD are its diagonal if AC = 10 cm then BD is

GIVEN :-

ABCD is a rectangle and AC and BD are its diagonal if AC = 10cm

TO FIND :-

  • To find BD

SOLUTION :-

  • ABCD is a rectangle, AC and BD are diagonals.
  • We know that, in rectangle diagonals are equal.

▫️A rectangle is a quadrilateral whose opposite sides are equal and all the four angles are right-angle.

▫️So, in rectangle ABCD, length AB= length CD and length BC= length CA.

▫️Again, angle A= angle B= angle C= angle D=90°.

➡️Hence, Diagonal BD= √(AD²+AB²) ....... (1) and

➡️Diagonal AC= √(AB²+BC²) ........... (2)

➡️Since, AD=BC, then from (1) and (2), we get, BD=AC= 10 cm.{Given that Diagonal AC=10 cm.}

By data

∴ AC=BD

➡️ AC=10cm

 \gray{\boxed{  BD=10cm}}
