ABCD is a rectangle E, F, G and H are mid points of sides AB, BC, CD, and DA respectively.if ar(EFGH)= 16 cm², find ar (ABCD)

its answer will be 32 cm². because the points are the midpoints. see since area of the quadrilateral ( parallelogram) is 16cm² which is the area formed by the midpoints of the rectangle so the area of the rectangle must be equal to twice the ar( EFGH) . and so the area of the rectangle is 32cm².

Ares of abcd will be twice the area of efgh .....because
If u draw a // line of an u found two //gm. And by mpt u can prove that area of abcd =2( ares of efgh)
