x+1 is length of rectangle ABCD since P,Q,R,S are mod point of sides
so it will also form a rectangle PQRS
length of rectangle PQRS= x+1/2 and breadth x-1/2
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
perimeter of rectangle PQRS=2( x+1/2× x-1/2)
2×1/2( x+1 × x-1 )
1(x^ 2+1+2x-x^2-1+2x)
1(2x+2x)
4x this is answer x^2 means x to the power 2
so it will also form a rectangle PQRS
length of rectangle PQRS= x+1/2 and breadth x-1/2
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
perimeter of rectangle PQRS=2( x+1/2× x-1/2)
2×1/2( x+1 × x-1 )

1(2x+2x)
