. if ab=30 is must be equal to cd=x+y
. if bc=x-y is must be equal to ad=14
therefore, x+y=30 --(1)and x-y=14--(2)
add (1)+(2)..,
x+y+x-y=30+14
2x=44
x=22
substitute x=22 in (1)..
22+y=30
y=8
