Step-by-step explanation:

Given: ABCD is a rectangle in which AB is equal to 4 units and AD is equal to 3 units taking AB as positive x-axis and AD on y-axis.

To find: Co-ordinates of Rectangle ABCD.

Solution:

To find the coordinates rectangle ABCD,remember the properties of Rectangle

  1. Opposite sides are equal and parallel.
  2. All the interior angles are of 90°.

I am taking origin as reference point A.

  • As A(0,0)
  • Length of AB is 4 units and it's axis is positive x-axis,thus co-ordinates of B are (4,0).

  • Length of AD is 3 units and it's axis is positive y-axis,thus Coordinates of D are (0,3).
  • Coordinates of C are (4,3)

All the points are shown in the figure attached.

Final Answer:

A(0,0)

B(4,0)

C(4,3)

D(0,3)

*Note:

Coordinates of ABCD can be changed if the reference point will change. There are infinite many possibilities of taking reference point and thus coordinates of remaining points will change accordingly.

Hope it helps you.
