let ABCD be a rectangle.
and AC be a diagonal.

here,

angle DAB = angle DCB. ( opp. angle of rectangle)

1/2angle DAB = 1/2 angle DCB

angle CAB = angle ACB

so,

AB=CB. (. sides of iso. triangle)

so, AB= DC and AD=BC. ( opp. sides of rectangle)

so, AB=BC=CD=DA

hence, ABCD is a square.
