ABCD is a rectangle inscribed in a circle, If AB =16cm BC=12cm
find the radius and area of the circle.

Given,

AB = 16cm

BC = 12cm

Then,

AD = BC = 12cm [ opposite Sides of a Rectangle are Equal ]

Similarly, AB = DC = 16cm

Length of BD
=√AB^2 + AD^2
= √16^2 + 12^2
= √256 + 144
= √400
= 20cm

Hence, Radius Will be = \small\bold{Diagonal/2}
= 20/2 = 10cm

And Area Of the Circle = πr^2
= 3.14 × 10 × 10
= 3140cm^2
