The area of shaded region is
Area of all four shaded region=πr^2/2+πr^2/2+πr^2/2+πr^2/2
Area=4×πr^2/2
Area=4×22/7×(28/4)^2/2
Area=308 sq. cm
Difference=420-308
Hence=112 sq.cm
