ABCD is a rectangle where BC = (4 x – 5) cm and AD = (2x + 3) cm. Find BC.​

AD =(2x+3)

In rectangle AD = BC

2x+3= 4x-5

3+5 = 4x-2x

8 = 2x

x = 4

BC = 4 (4) -5

= 16-5

= 11

BC = 11
