Given :   ABCD is a rectangle whose area is 108 m² and length is 12m

To Find : area of the square AEFC

Solution:

Area of  rectangle = length * breadth

area = 108  m²

length = 12 m

=> 12 * breadth = 108

=>  breadth = 9 m

diagonal of rectangle  AC = √length² + breadth²

= √12² + 9²

= √225

Area of square  AEFC = AC²  =  (√225)²  = 225 m²
