Length of Diagonal of rectangle ABCD = (for figure .. refer to attachment)

BD =  \sqrt{(0 - 4)  {}^{2} + (3 - 0) {}^{2} }

BD =  \sqrt{4 {}^{2}  + 3 {}^{2} }

BD \sqrt{16 + 3}

BD =  \sqrt{25}

BD = 5 \: units...

therefore option (A) 5 units is the answer.
