ABCD is a rhombus having co ordinates of the diagonal ,

A (2,4) and C ( 6,-2)

so to find equation of diagonal BD ,

we have to find its slope (m)

so,

m = ( y2 - y1 ) / ( x2 - x1 )

here, x1 = 2 , y1 = 4 , x2 = 6 ,y2 = -2

putting values ,

m = ( -2 - 4 ) / 6 - 2

m. = -6 / 4

m= -3 /2

now to find the equation we have,

y - y1 = m ( x - x1 )

y - 4 = ( - 3/2 ) ( x - 2 )

2 ( y - 4 ) = -3 ( x - 2 )

2y - 8 = - 3x + 6

3x + 2y - 14 =0
