⇒ AB is the length of the side of the rhombus

⇒ AC is the diagonal of the rhombus

⇒ BD is the other diagonal of the rhombus


Find half of AC:

AC = 48

half of AB = 48 ÷ 2 = 24 cm


Find half of BD:

Half of BD, Half of AB and one side of the rhombus make a right angle triangle

a² + b² = c²

24² + b² = 26²

b² = 26² - 24²

b² = 100

b = √100

b = 10 cm


Find the length of BD:

BD = 2 x 10 = 20 cm
