The 4 arms of a rhombus are equal.We know that a rhombus will be a square if the angles made by its 4 arms are 90 degree. But a square can never be a rhombus as there is no specified angle of being a rhombus. So just imagine if we roughly draw some rhombuses with 4 arms of 6cm each but various angles except 90 degrees then for every rhombus we found different lengths for diagonals. It will be vary in different cases. So, there should be a condition that the angles are 90 degrees of the rhombus ABCD with AB=6cm. Now the diagonals are also equal in this case.

Then one of the digital say AC will be _/(6^2+6^2)=6_/2cm and the other BD will also be 6_/2 cm.
