AB = 10 cm & AM = 8 cm if ABCD is a rhombus. M is the midpoint of  AC =16cm. AD=10 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

ABCD is a rhombus

Hence all sides are equal

=> AB = BC = CD = AD

AD = 10 cm

=> AB = 10 cm

M is the mid point of AC

AC = 16 cm

=> AM = AC/2 = 16/2 = 8 cm

AM = 8 cm

to find BM

(diagonals of rhombus bisect each other perpendicularly)

BM² = AB² - AM²

=> BM² = 10² - 8²

=> BM² = 36

=> BM = 6 cm
