Abcd is a rhombus such that angle adb equals to 50 degree find angle acb

Solution :-

• Sides of rhombus are equal.

AD = AB

=> Angle opposite to equal side are equal.

|_ADB = |_ABD

|_ABD = 50°


In ∆ ABD using Angle sum property of triangle.

|_ABD + |_ADB + |_BAD = 180

50 + 50 + |_BAD = 180

100 + |_BAD = 180

|_BAD = 80

• Opposite angles are equal in rhombus

|_BAD = |_BCD

|_BCD = 80

• Diagonal of rhombus bisect the corresponding angle.

|_ACB = |_ACD

|_ACD = 1/2 of |_BCD

|_ACD = 40°
