⇒  Side of square =7cm

⇒  Area of square OABC=(side)2=(7)2=49cm2

⇒  Here, radius of sector r=7cm and θ=90o

⇒  Area of sector OAPC=360oθπr2

⇒  Area of sector OAPC=360o90o×722×(7)2

∴  Area of sector OAPC=4×722×49=38.5cm2

⇒  Area of shaded region = Area of square OABC - Area of sector OAPC

∴ Area of shaded region =49−38.5=10.5cm2
