$\bold{\boxed{\huge{\boxed{\orange{\small{\boxed{\huge{\red{\bold{\:Answer}}}}}}}}}}$ = since ABCD is a square so, AC and BD is the length of diagonals , and we know that in square both the diagonal are equal in length ..

so,

$2 \times diagonal = 12 \\ \\ diagonal = 6cm$

Now, we know that , in square :---

$diagonal \: = \sqrt{2} \times side \\ \\ 6 = \sqrt{2} \times side \\ \\ side \: = ( \frac{6}{ \sqrt{2} } )$

Side = 3√2 cm (Ans)
