Since the circle is inscribed inside a square of side 14 cm, so the diameter of the circle must be equal to side of the square.
Diameter, d = 14 cm
radius , r = 7cm
area of circle = πr2 = 22/7 × 7× 7 = 22×7 = 154 cm2

Remaining portions are 4 semi circles hence area will be pie multiplied by radius square divided by 2 and multiply by 4 that is 22/7*7*7*1/2*4 equals to 308.
