GIVEN :-

  • Length of rectangle , AB = 10 cm.
  • Breadth of rectangle , AD = 6 cm.

TO FIND :-

  • The area of shaded Portion.

SOLUTION :-

★ Diameter of Circle = 6 cm.

★ Radius of Circle = 6/2 = 3 cm.

Area of Circle = πr².

→ 22/7 × (3)²

→ 22/7 × 9

→ 198/7

28.28 cm².

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

→ 10 cm × 6 cm.

60 cm².

Area of shaded portion = area of rectangle - area of circle

→ 60 cm² - 28.28 cm²

31.72 cm².

Hence required area of shaded portion is 31.72 cm².
