Answer:

Side of a square, a=14cm

Radius of each circle, r= 2/7cm

Area of the shaded portion = Area of a square - 4 × Area of a circle=a2-4πr2 )

=14×14−4× 22/7×7/2×7/2

=196−154

∴ Area of the shaded portion =42cm^2

Formula used :-

 \frac{1}{4} \pi {r}^{2}

Here :-

π = 22/7

r = 14

Solution :-

 \frac{1}{4}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14  \: \times 14 \:  \\  \\  = 11 \times 14 \\  = 154 {cm}^{2}  \\

The Area of shaded reason will Be ➦154cm^2

Hope it ll helps uh .
